shipping

We live on a remote island off the coast of southeast Alaska.  Shipping seafood from Alaska can be challenging and unpredictable, not to mention expensive!  This page has information about the type of shipping we offer for the different products we sell; shelf stable, fresh, and frozen.

shelf stable products

- Sitka Salmon Snax
- Smoked King Salmon

Our shelf stable products do not require freezing or refrigeration and can be shipped USPS or FedEx.

fresh seafood products

- Fresh Sea Cucumbers
- Fresh Whole Salmon

Shipping fresh seafood is time sensitive, and things need to run efficiently to get quality seafood into your hands as quickly as possible. Alaska Air Cargo is reliable, and is our ideal shipping method for perishable seafood.  Most Alaska Air Cargo Stations have freezers and coolers to keep your products cold until you arrive to pick up. At this time Alaska Air Cargo is the only shipping method we offer for fresh seafood. Unlike carriers like FedEx, you will need to schedule your own pickup, or pick up the shipment from the airport yourself when it arrives. When your shipment is sent to the airport of your choosing; you will be provided an Airway Bill # that you can track the shipment during transit at www.alaskacargo.com.  Present your AWB# to the an agent at your Air Cargo Destination to accept your shipment once it arrives. - Frozen Sea Cucumber whole
- Ikura - Keta Salmon Caviar
- Salmon fillets & portions

Frozen seafood is shipped Fedex Overnight (delivered direct to the address you provide us).  If you would rather have your frozen seafood shipped Alaska Air Cargo, send us a message and we will be happy to acommodate you.
