Hey!
My name is Kellan. I am a lifelong resident of Sitka; a small town on the outer coast of Baranof Island in Southeast Alaska. Sitka is a major fishing port - ranking as the 14th largest port by volume in the United States. I have been commercial salmon trolling in Alaska since 2014, and have been participating in the Sea Cucumber dive fishery since 2011. In 2019 I established Bluewater Alaskan Seafoods LLC so that I could reach more people with my products.
The waters surrounding Southeast Alaska are rich with life, and produce an abundance of organic, clean, and healthy seafood that we are so grateful for. My goal is to be able to share our amazing seafood, and make it accessible to anyone!
Alaska is home to a lot of good seafood, true. However if you take the time to go above and beyond you can produce a truly great product. How your seafood was handled from the moment it's caught, to the time it's frozen or shipped can make all of the difference. Most people who don't like seafood haven't had truly fresh seafood!
We are proudly DEC & HAACP approved. Producing a safe, healthy, and exciting product for our customers is our top priority!
